Hurray for SIFE! (and nieces who make the team better!)

The SIFE team went to Nationals in Minneapolis last week. You recall when they competed in San Francisco. Here they are in the parking lot getting ready to leave for the airport last Monday. You can see that El Esposo's truck is loaded with luggage. He took half the team and the luggage and the SIFE professor took the other half.
Five of these are the students who are going. the woman third from the right, with the long hair is my walking friend. She also teaches in the Business department and is a big SIFE supporter!
The guy on the right was once one of my students. Extremely shy. Now he is on the SIFE presenting team, is the competition chair, and I think he's the president. The one in the boots you all know! She's the president intern for SIFE and is a big part of how they got to go to nationals in the first place. (ok, I know it's a team effort! But I'm a little biased!) The one next to her has been the student trustee and student body president. We worked together all last summer on a committee figuring out how to cut millions from the budget.
The man in the glasses is the SIFE professor and the woman on the right is on the presenting team.
Off they went!

And they came home with a trophy! Competing against all four year schools in their league, they were second runner up and got a trophy to bring home. The first nationals trophy in the SIFE trophy case! Great job SIFERS!
