Getting the new trailer

We will now see a series of slideshows documenting the replacement of the disemboweled Sprite!

This is the day we got the NEW old trailer!

This is our Maiden Voyage.  Of course it starts with a knitting project for the camping trip!  We were only gone for one night and we didn't go far.  We had the minimum of utensils.  The only thing we cooked was pancakes.  We arrived pretty early in the day so we had almost two full days and one night to relax.  I brought knitting and spinning and indulged myself in both!

During our first trip we talked a lot about the trailer "theme" that we will use to decorate.  It came with a mild theme of travel.  There were old state park pennants on the walls and throw pillows with Route 66 fabric.  That all got taken out.  Our trailer is going to be The Clubhouse, as in baseball.  And by baseball, I mean Giants baseball!  Orange and black, team logos, you get the idea.  And if you know EE, you know why!  He already installed the license plate covers and I made curtains and a table cloth, and found black and orange dishes.  There is much more to do, but you can see it coming together in this slideshow of our second trip.  This one was three nights and we got a system started!  Get up in the morning, move the cushions to the kitchen and make breakfast.  Need a nap?  Move the cushions to the bed platform... and so on... There was grilling and a little more action on the stove than before.  Also loads of spinning and knitting and listening to baseball!  Mom and D stopped by to celebrate our house warming!  I didn't take so many pictures.  I will do better next trip!  Most of them were of EE putting the trailer away behind the garage.  That part is pretty cool!  The things you can do with a small trailer!  On the other hand, there are slight drawbacks.  The chamber pot or trek to the campground bathroom for example!
Happy Trails in our future!
