Yes, my friends, it is true. Thousands of thirty something and older women (and some young ones, too) all "social networking" on a site called Ravelry. From around the world! Even in Antarctica there are knitters! The site is not just for knitting--crocheting, spinning and felting too.
Can you believe there is a website devoted to mathematical knitting? Here is one of the items on the mathematical knitting page. It is a knitted model of hyperbolic space.
Can you believe there is a blog called "passive agressive notes?" Weird!
Can you believe there is a whole website devoted to the mentos and diet coke phenomenon?
If you ever wanted to be the choreographer for a water show (like at Belagio or Disneyland), you can just satisfy your burning talent with mentos and diet coke and a little bit of music for the background.
Can you believe that I know about all this? I guess a person can find time for anything!
