More Loose Ends

The dear husband took the Enneagram test. He was a 9 (T., you have company!). Aunt Betty is mad that she came out as a perfectionist (see her comment! on the first enneagram post). What about the rest of you? Is anyone out there reading. A blog was published in a cyber forest and nobody commented. Does it really exist?

Just finished Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult. Really good. Her books have very complex characters. They have lots of flaws, but they are likable and that makes you think about what they have done. This book had a lot to think about re: the power of motherhood and what a mother would do for a child. It also had a lot to think about re: trying to control the world--or at least a little corner of it--and instead making it all much worse. Very thought provoking.

Also finished a book by Patricia Cornwell called At Risk. Don't bother! I think it is a joke she is making, publishing this and watching it go up the best seller list just because she is a famous author. No plot development, no character development. Big words, really spread out on the page--read it in one day. But it still sold for $7.99. Glad got it second hand and didn't spend money on it!
