The look isn't complete without the skates on but I didn't want freshly sharpened skates on the antique Persian carpet. What a mean mother.
Thursday of last week was his first class and he had a blast. We weren't sure which level he should be in so he did the first level and the coach had him stick around for the second level. He skated for a about three hours straight. He was dripping sweat. At 85 pounds I'm wondering what will happen when he gets slammed by a 130 pound kid. He may go skittering across the ice! Or he may be too light and quick to get get caught.
Looks like the Seattleites might have a new hobby! This sport has great gear!
